An year passed by

March 9th,2011

The date reminded me that I haven't written a sibgle word here for the past one year. So here I'm jotting down whatever comes to my mind, sharing with the world whatever significant happened during the past one year.

It has been four years that I came to Mumbai. Though it still requires five more months to complete my four years stay in Mumbai, it is good to realize that I amfour years old since I first landed here with my husband.

Why did I come to Mumbai? Was there any dream to pursue a career in bollywood? NO. Did I want to become a singer? NO. Did I want to try my hands into modelling? NO. Noneof these reasons is the actual cause why to we had shift from Delhi to Mumbai. But yes, apupose definitely was there. A very strong purpose which was to set the future of my husband. He got admission in Diploma in Radio diagnosis, and that was the reason we all had to shift our base from Delhi to Mumbai. From the natinal capital city to the 'city of dreams'.

Yes. Mumbai has always been my dream city. You might think that it is my dream city because of Bollywood. It is in Mumbai that I get to see the beauty of oceans and the majestic mountains and hills. And these are my passion, really.

Kuchh ajjeb sa feel hata hai jab bhi main oceans ke baare main sochti hun. I actually get goosebumps...and mountains/hills are like they want to convey a deep message. So naturally I have deep love for Mumbai that can't be explained in words.

So when we decided to shift to Mumbai, we had many inhibitions in minds as well as fear in our hearts. Why? Because that was the time when Mumbaikars were supposed to oppose the existence of North Indians. We were really scared before we came here. But contrary to all those unknown fears, Mumbai welcomed us with open arms. Not only the city but the people around us really opened their hearts for us. We have made real good friends who are surely to remain in the memories for the whole life.

The last year has especially been very fruitful for us. We have gained a lot, personal as well as professional front both. My husband not only has completed his radiology diploma but also got a job in a good hospital. The best part of his job is that it is very close to our home, which is a real bliss.
